Colour Wheel: A Month-Long Celebration of Contemporary Art at Malaka Spice
Colour Wheel, a month-long celebration of contemporary art curated by Romartika Art Decoded, brings together four consecutive group exhibitions at Malaka Spice throughout August 2026. Showcasing the works of fifteen artists, the exhibition presents a compelling spectrum of artistic voices, techniques, and visual philosophies, offering Pune’s art lovers an immersive journey through colour, texture, form, and imagination.
Sonal V. Saxena’s intricate hatchings and swirling patterns evoke the timeless grace of classical India, while Filomina Pawer’s enigmatic forms invite quiet contemplation and personal interpretation. Reema Singh captures the enduring charm of historic monuments, preserving the poetry of antiquity on canvas. Young prodigy Dav Gawli reveals an astonishing command of abstraction, transforming intuitive thought into compelling visual expression. Pallavi Pathak’s vibrant compositions radiate festive exuberance, while Udayan Dandekar’s masterful pastel landscapes dissolve the boundary between viewer and scene through striking realism.
